Im a little surprised at the lack of reviews on this one, seeing how good it really is. If you liked The Gothic series or Risen on the PC, I think youll be pleasantly pleased with the way Beast Quest plays. It is similar to those games (of which I consider myself quite a veteran), except that it doesnt have quite as much depth and complexity to it (understandable - its on an iPad). Im sure they had to make some tough decisions along the way on just how much they could do with those limitations compared to a PC. Other than the fact that it seems to be geared towards a younger audience than Id like to see, this game is everything Ive been looking for. Dont let any of the negatives scare you away, its free to try and the pay system is quite fair. $2 (only if you want to) near the beginning buys you 50% more coins and its well worth it. This is a luscious, beautiful game and if you miss it, well, youre missing one of best of this genre for the iPad. Solid 5 stars. No, I am NOT a shill for the company.

Stupid and annoying

I have started playing this on the computer and I almost died with exitement that it was free. This is a amazing game to play with your family, friends, enemies whatever you do get this game

Is it good or maybe not cheese

Needs an easier way to get different areas because it can get slightly repetitive to farm gems for other campaigns

i have been playing this game for about 30 minutes now and this game has already... "COMPLETELY BLOWN-AWAY" ... every other mobile game that i have played to date (and there have been many). - the gameplay is super smooth... - the graphics are sharp (darn near jaw-dropping) and... - the initial 15 to 30 second period of "first-time-playing-a-game-judgement" lets you know (without doubt) that you WILL be doing some further exploring of of this game. let me rephrase that... "you will immediately WANT to explore A LOT more of this game." im already hooked. i have been looking for a game like this for a long time now. and finally, IT IS HERE! i cant wait to find out what this game has in store for me. what i am sure is going to be my pleasure. great job to the makers of this game. keep up the good work. my hat is off to you. :)

I dont know if I can ride storm Im reading the book and storm sounds good but where can I ride him or get him?

A great game. Worth your time. Even better if youve read the books, but that isnt necessary,considering I didnt read any of the books until after I played this. Theyve already added one new full chapter, and theyre rumored to be adding another soon, so you know it has good developer support. The developer should make a "new game+" mode that lets you reset all the missions and lets you play again keeping all your gems and artifacts. A new game+ mode could also have stronger & faster enemies.
